Dr. Sejutie Alam

Born in Bangladesh, Sejutie immigrated to Southern Ontario with her family when she was 5 years old. She grew up in the GTA before leaving to study at Western University, where she completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. Sejutie then completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction in the Class of 2021.

Upon graduation, Sejutie practiced as an optometrist in rural Nova Scotia for a few years to gain valuable and unique experiences. She is very excited to be back in Ontario to provide comprehensive eye care to all of her patients. Her goal is to broaden her patients’ knowledge of their eye health and to make them feel understood and advocated for. She is looking forward to putting down roots in the K-W region and taking care of her patients long-term.

In her free time, Sejutie enjoys reading, travelling, and getting together with friends and family.
